Company and Job Overview

Our client, a Japanese advisory firm, is looking for a person to be their representative in Indonesia.
 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Market Entry & Business Development:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy for Indonesia.

    • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including potential investors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors.

    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and assess market trends.

    • Represent company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

  • Investment Sourcing & Execution:

    • Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across various sectors

    • Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including financial, legal, and operational assessments.

    • Prepare investment proposals and presentations for internal review and investor presentations.

    • Assist in the negotiation and structuring of investment deals.

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

    • Provide ongoing portfolio management and advisory services to clients.

    • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely and accurate information.

  • Compliance & Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.

    • Prepare regular reports on investment performance and market activity.

 

Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field from a reputable university. MBA or other relevant advanced degrees preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or credit investing.

  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment transactions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and economic trends in Indonesia.

  • Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and spoken) is essential.

  • Prior experience working with private credit investment firms is preferrable
