Our client, a Japanese company in paper chemical industry, is looking for Technical Engineer with details as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
Laboratory Testing:
Conduct a variety of paper tests
Prepare test samples and ensure proper sample handling and storage.
Analyze test data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports.
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during testing.
Equipment Installation and Maintenance:
Provide technical support for the installation and commissioning of paper-related equipment (e.g., printing presses, coating machines, paper converting machines).
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
Perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
Provide technical guidance to operators and maintenance personnel.
Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
Technical Support:
Provide technical advice and support to internal and external customers on paper-related issues.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to paper quality and performance.
Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to paper manufacturing and processing.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Pulp and Paper Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in conducting paper testing and analyzing test data.
Experience with paper-related equipment installation and maintenance (preferred).
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
