Summary:
The role is expected to oversee design, construction, schedule, cost and all other aspects of quality for MEP matters; provide appropriate direction to the team based on regulations, business practices, trends and raise issues arising as the project progresses with shareholders or board of directors to get approval in a timely manner; communicate closely with internal and external project stakeholders such as investment, sales & marketing, business partners, government and clients to have a clear vision of their requirements and work together to establish the master plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, construction management or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of experience in MEP design, installation, and construction management, hands on experience in managing complex construction projects in MNC developers or contractors as MEP engineers will be preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and good knowledge of market building standards, regulation and trends.
- Able to plan, schedule and oversee all phases of the MEP construction process, and manage project budgets, minimizing the costs.
- Able to identify, analyze, and mitigate the risks related to the MEP aspects of the project.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for liaising with clients, project stakeholders, international consultants, contractors and other team members.
- Good knowledge of MEP-specific design tools such as AutoCAD, BIM etc.
- Strong attention to detail, responsible and able to handle multiple tasks, adaptability to changing project requirements.
